Fasting or Exercising?

Options
Which is better if you know your going to have a more relaxed approach to your diet over a 24 hour period?

A hard workout on Sat AM and Sun PM, would consume around 300 Kcal pre and 200 Post (this would kick-start my appetite making me more greedy)- Burn around 200 - I'm only small so don't burn much!

Or fasting Sat AM and Sun PM.

After a bulking period I am focussing on fat loss and fitness.
Staying in a 5* hotel Saturday night and I want to make the most of the delicious food and cocktails without gaining too much

:)

    Well, let's see ...

I love exercising ... and I don't even like the thought of fasting ... so for me ...

I would do fasting and drink lots of water in prep for the booze. The exercise would just make me hungrier and that could make me a smidge cranky. Truth be told, I'd really just enjoy the hell out of my stay and deal with the consequences later. Someone as tiny as you can't possibly do too much damage, LOL! Hope you have a wonderful time!

I think the fasting would work better for me too :) I think that's the problem, as I am small it hangs around my stomach and makes me look bloated and feel uncomfortable in a nice outfit. Thank you very much

    ^This.

It's not what you do some of the time but what you do most of the time...

I fast for health reasons once per month, it's supposed to help you immune system.
But fasting to save up calories? No.. Just enjoy your trip. It's ok to have a cheat weekend every now and then. Just stick to your diet when you get home and before you go.

Go for the hard workout and train good and intense but not to injury. That way when you get to your well deserved consumption and indulgence at the 5 star you can kick back and truly enjoy it:)
Don't forget about the hot tub too!

Both?? I exercise even when I fast. Don't seem to experience any adverse effects as long as you're not going beyond the 48hr mark.

Haha some funny comments here. I wish I could do fasted exercise but I suffer with Migraines :( which are triggered when I don't eat before or after training. Some times I can get away with it but not worth risking it when I have a nice day and evening planned :) Trust me I WILL enjoy it, probably more on the Alcohol side. less than 48 hours and I will by the pool sipping a Porn Star Martin!
