How do I get started?

I am not at my heaviest but I certainly am not where I'd like to be. If I was a bit taller, maybe my weight wouldn't be so scary. Maybe if I saw myself as my husband sees me, I wouldn't be so disappointed in myself every time I eat. .... I want to be healthy. I want help. I know what do. I know how to be healthy and once I get started, i know I love working out. How do I get started? I need to have someone depending on me to work out so I can work out, too. I need a buddy. Of course, I know all I have to do is find a buddy, the thing isn't so easy. Uhm...I guess I am asking for help from anyone here. Someone that will hold me accountable for my every day goals.

    I've always said - "I'm not over-weight, I'm under-tall" :D

I'm 5 ft 2 so for me, every pound shows. If I weighed what I do now but was 5 ft 6 - Well, I wouldn't have a problem! I'm not overweight at the moment but I am at the high end of healthy and for me, it's something I do need to constantly be aware of as like I said, every pound shows! As you've said, your problem isn't in the 'doing' but in the 'working up to doing' - So try this: Log in to MFP every day and log at least one meal a day to start off with. Once you get in to the 'habit' of being accountable, it'll be easy.

    You can do this!
