I am looking for a good HRM for general fitness. Which one do you have? Would you recommend it? Pro's/Cons?

Polar HRMs are great. I personally have a Sportline, which has worked great for me, and was much cheaper than a Polar. Which ever one you get, a chest strap is a must. HRMs without a chest strap are a waste of money since they aren't nearly as accurate. I got mine at walmart for $47, but you can also find good deals on Ebay and Amazon.com. Good luck!

I have the Polar FT4. I bought it on Amazon.co.uk. No complaints with it so far.

I also have the polar FT4 i did a lot of research and bought this one becasue it is a good basic HRM, it has calories burned and very easy to use. I bought mine at fitness depot for 98$ (can)

Had it for just over a month and i love it. Highly recommend :)
  • I finally decided on one. I bought the ladies Polar FT7 in red and silver. Thanks everyone!
