Exercise with broken foot

Hi all, ok so I broke my foot. The day I signed up at the YMCA. So I'm not able to go for 4 to 6 weeks. What can I do to get some in. I usually walk a couple of miles a day with my dog.

    Give it time to heal firstly! (I'm half way through healing a massive fracture in my arm!) But at least you can do sitting exercises, my advice is do a little light weight training and watch your diet (your body needs protein to heal, don't let it take from your muscles! Feed the healing! ) and don't stress about lack of fitness, your healing is more important :) good luck!
