Usually my notion of 'sweets' these days are nature valley/fiber one nut bars, Greek yogurts, or chocolate covered nuts...
For the other stuff, I just save it for when I really crave it, but then it can be anything from cookies to ice cream or cake... but only when I crave something specific, not just for the sake of it.

I'm gonna have to change this to include banana cream pie and peanut butter. But technically bananas are fruit and peanut butter is healthy so those aren't technically "sweets" am I right?
What about a banana peanut butter cream pie!!! oooh with a chocolate crust.0 -

Well, if you use a dark chocolate for the crust obviously that would be a healthy food choice methinks....even a good source of protein.
True...so I guess there's no way it can be considered bad for you. It's kind of like fulfills all the food groups too...fruit, dairy in the cream, chocolate is a food group so ya perfect food0 -

Too many sour candies will make my teeth hurt. Don't they use nitric acid to make them sour, I really have no clue but it sounds plausible0

How many sour candies does it take to make your mouth sore? Is it the sugar that irritates your mouth? I haven't heard of that.
Whatever the additive is that they to make them sour, can irritate the lining of the mouth....especially if one eats....oh....about 200 of them.

I looked it up and was right it's citric or tartaric acid. It can cause tongue irritation and decay tooth enamel. I think it hurts my teeth the ones that they took some enamel off to get my wire to stick and the ones my orthodontist ground down a little too much to even them out.0
