Not ready for P90X....

I'm super, super out of shape, I know I can't do P90X, but would like to work to condition myself to be able to start it come January. What program should I use in the meantime, to kick butt, burn cals and fat, and start getting me ready for P90X? Turbofire? ChaLEAN Xtreme? Power 90?
I need suggestions?
I'm falling off the wagon so to speak, I've been dissapointed with very slow/no loss lately, and I've sort of slipped, I need to get doing something serious that will get me real results when combined with a good diet.
Ideas?

Well if you are new to exercise I'd say do Power 90. If you have been exerdising then do Chalean Extreme.
Both are great programs but I really think Chalean is good to do before P90X especially for women!
Good luck!0 -
I've heard the Power 90 program is a good one to start with if you can't do P90X. Look on the Beachbody.com site for some ideas of what they have. There are many good workout DVD's available outside that site too. Even just doing things like running and biking will help. The biggest thing is to keep working and continue trying to push your fitness level a little further. When you do take on P90X just do what you can and modify what you can't do. I'm on my second time through and there are still things I can't do or have to modify. I have cranky knees so I have to be careful on some of the plyometrics and legs/back moves. I just do what I can and if it's something that will hurt me I don't do it!0

I agree, if you you are looking to do P90X, P90 would be where to start.0

I would also try 30 day shred, you don't have to do it every day, but maybe every other day, with some basic cardio in between, but it mixes light cardio with light weights, and it has low intensity and higher intensity versions in the same workout, so you can up your burn if you want without switching dvd's. It's been great for me!0

good info, I've been looking for something more intense as well! Don't beat yourself up, everyone I think goes through this and everyone finds different things that motivate them to stay on track. As I've said before, sometimes our set backs are really set ups for our comeback0
