Hate to sound blunt, and at the risk of sounding rude.. If you're really upset with the way you look, then you'll do something about it.

I'm coming up to my one year of starting October 9th last year. I said the same thing. Hated how I looked in the mirror at a store, or walking by a window and seeing my reflection, or the worse one of all... in photographs. I just think that you have to get to that place yourself, where you finally understand that it's all up to you, no one else, no one can stop you from eating the wrong thing or too much of one thing. You have decide; either you want to stay the size you are and possibly larger, or you change your way of eating today. It's pretty simple really. I realized that if I didn't take action that day, then I'd look even worse a year from then. As soon as I understood that fact fully, is when I started to count calories and found foods on my own with lower caloric counts. I started MFP oct 9th 2015 with a 37" waist. My waist is now 29 1/2". Try walking an hour a day & work up to hour & half - use map my walk app or pedometer. Be accountable to yourself. You really can do it! It's a choice.

    Very good advise!
