Gaining some confidence

For the longest time I have not had much confidence in myself - especially when it comes to my physical appearance. I have always hid behind big clothes (even when I had nothing to hide). After having kids, gaining weight, losing myself esteem, gaining more weight, and feeling less then sexy (for the man who is supposed to make me feel sexy) - I started hiding behind bigger clothes.
I have been a member of MFP for about 2 months now, and I am happy to report, that I am starting to feel a little more confident in myself. So much so - that for the first time ever I actually wore a pair of skinny jeans, and a shirt that fit (not twice my size). Not only did I feel amazing being able to wear the skinny jeans, but I also was able to go out in public and not feel ugly, fat, uncomfortable or any of my usual feelings. I am also proud to report that for the first time, in 11 years, I didn't feel as though I needed my "husband" to say I look smaller, thinner, etc (I have finally excepted he probably never will), to actually feel good about myself...
Sorry the quality of the picture sucks... (plus it was early, was just excited about being able to put on my skinny jeans w/o the muffin top )
