I have not done them, but one of my friends has.
They're honestly pretty generic workouts. Yes, there is some body weight training and they will burn calories, but IMO they're extremely overpriced and you can get the same things for free online if you look. Her workouts really aren't anything special.
If you're looking for similar things to do at home, Jillian Michaels has some videos on YouTube that are just as good as anything Kayla Itsines puts in her workouts.
Alternatively, there are many body weight fitness guides online that are free if you Google them.

Sounds expensive........http://www.bikinibodyguidereview.com/
I use exercise videos all the time. Individual videos are great. I hate high pressure sales of programs like Beach Body.

my suggestion?
Download freeletics.
Hundreds of free workouts, videos, and most of them are HIIT style just like the BBG1 -
I am in week 9 of the first round. I did not pay for the guide. It's hard to describe how I feel about the programme. I had been exercising like 4-6 times per week for years before starting BBG and I still find the BBG workouts extremely challenging - sometimes in a good way but sometimes not in a good way. For instance, sometimes I reach total muscle failure and simply can't continue the exercises and feel like I am not getting the most out of my workout. I have to keep stopping to rest and try to get another rep in...stop...rep...so slow....A bit demoralising when you simply can't do the exercises. Like 25 raised leg tricep dips + 15 incline push-ups + more upper body stuff...like if your arms give out at exercise 1...you legit just can't get the other reps done within the 7 minutes. I feel like I have a pretty good level of fitness so I am seriously sometimes confounded if people are able to actually finish the circuits! Also, they are boring and not fun. Repetitive. A bit demoralising when you simply can't do the exercises. The part I like is that it is so challenging and I have not stopped doing them yet. I guess I am showing progress in some areas so that is what I like about it.
I will probably stop doing them after finishing the first round. I am only finishing to prove I can.
I want my workouts to be fun and to feel like I am getting the most out of them. I much prefer FitnessBlender.com - 100% free. Also, I miss more focused strength training.
Hope that helps :-)0
