Been sticking to under 1600 calories religiously and put on half a pound! How's that work? Also I have a lot to loose so should be falling off me

What are your stats and goals? How long have you been at your current deficit? Have you added any new exercises?
If you make your diary public, folks can take a better look.
Right now, without any more information, there's not much anyone can speculate on.2 -

Are you logging correctly? By that I mean are you weighing your food (not using cups/spoons/guestimates/eyeballing) and avoiding using homemade or generic entries?4

How tall are you?
There are mistakes that people commonly make that cause them to not lose weight that we might be able to spot if you change your Diary Sharing settings to Public: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings2 -
Don't sweat it. It's long term trends you should monitor, not trends over a week or two.1

How are you verifying the 1600 calories you are eating? Do you use a food scale? Are you eating back exercise calories? If so, how are you verifying those?1

1/2 Lb...*kitten*, the scale might have had a little more humidity on it or it could be colder/warmer...or you might have some more waste in your system, etc....1/2 Lb is nothing. Weight loss and weight management is about trends over time, not the weigh in to weigh in.3

Looking at your food diary there are days where you have missed entering food and say logged a bacon sandwich not weighed it. You need to weigh and log everything you eat to make sure you are actually eating under 1600.2

It always amazes me when people are even surprised by random weight fluctuations, like they've never seen it before. I must conclude that other people's weight does not swing up and down by like 5lb every day like mine does.
OP, watch the trend over 3 or 4 weeks. If you're still gaining or not losing then, try changing something. But don't skip logging, otherwise you have no idea what your intake is and it is highly unlikely to end up at 1600 just by wishful thinking.1 -

Or even just the bolded part above.5
