I deleted the Fitbit app and tried to reinstall it but MFP stated No Token Access. Now, today, I see My Fitbit Is added back but it's still not syncing. Anyone else having this issue? This is the second day for me

yes, fitbit is garbage anymore. nothing but issues. I was using under armour record with my fitbit to sync and that was working now its not.1

*Sigh* I have the exact same issue. Yesterday there wasn't any syncing happening, and today, MFP isn't getting any of the exercise recorded, but Fitbit is receiving my logged foods data.1

I'm very annoyed. I used to be an MFP member, and I deactivated my account and went to another site after one too many bugs with the recipe maker here. I came back here specifically for the Fitbit integration because no other site handles the calorie adjustment as well as MFP.
Since Saturday, I have received a calorie adjustment just once.
I can figure out how many calories to eat from Fitbit and do the math myself, but this wasn't exactly what I was hoping to do. I've been doing this for months now, but on a different site.
I hope they get this sorted soon.0 -
Mine started working yesterday afternoon after not working in the morning. I did not delete and reinstall though. I think it was an issue on MFP's end, because my fitbit way syncing with all of my other apps.2

Same here. Coming from MFP to Fitbit but not the other way around. They have an announcement in the FAQ but no clue when it will be working again.1

Second day of not syncing for me1

my fitbit stopped syncing again today. I burned 610 additional calories and it gave me 27 calories burned on MFP, I will add manually from now on and not let fitbit sync with MFP for the time being, fitbit doesnt want to sync with other apps either. so its on fitbits end1

I look at my activity on my fitbit app, click on it and see how many calories it shows you burned from the walking, then manually add it to MFP,I did that but I made it about 20% less than it gave me just to be safe.then if it decides to update or sync again you can remove those calories burned that you added manually1 -

Same is happening to me. It's annoying because I look forward to eating additional calories. Now I'm eating just 1200 calories or a little over to be safe. So not cool.

I don't want to manually enter but if I have to for now. I guess that's what I have to do. Syncing is just soo convenient. Today is the third day of this madness for me

Yesterday morning, my steps were almost 3,000. MFP only logged 88 steps 0.O

I don't want to manually enter, because MFP is syncing to Fitbit. It's just that Fitbit isn't syncing to MFP. I don't want to mess up what's going on over on Fitbit. I'll live with MFP showing me over on my calories for a few days, as annoying as that is.0 -

you can go into your settings on mfp and have it to where it doesnt log your steps, and then later on you can select it again and go from there to see if its syncing again. mine has been like that for almost 3 weeks now. like I said UAR(under armour record) was working, but now that is not. once this fitbit dies Im done. this is a replacement and I have had nothing but issues the last 2 years with fitbit and their issues.0 -
I like my Fitbit just fine, it seems like MFP is the problem. I was on another site and they had no trouble mining data from Fitbit. It was just that they didn't use a calculation that removed my BMR from the calorie burn to give me a calorie adjustment, so I was basically eating using the TDEE method for the past 9 months. I did fine, I lost almost 20 pounds.
I just wanted to come back here for how MFP did the Fitbit adjustment, but if they're not getting it right, I won't be hanging around. This is ridiculous.
I'm not sure where to go in my settings for changing it logging my steps. I saw something under apps, but I don't have anything selected.0 -
if on a computer go to apps on your main page and then you will see a steps category, click on that and it will show all the devices logging your steps, its very simple to figure it out. if on a phone click on the mfp app, click on the 3 bars on the top left(drop down menu.then click on steps,it will say choose a device, add a device or dont track steps, click on that.its on fitbits end though because Im not having any other issues with mfp and the fitbit app for me is wonky with other things.fitbit has been having these issues often which is why Im going to buy another type of device that isnt made by fitbit. nothing but problems with their trackers.0

I just checked and enabled everything again in UAR and so far its working again. so I would say try again or disable for 24 hrs and enable things again for 24 hrs0

My Fit bit doesn't sync either unless I use the computer and dongle. I don't always have time so I convert steps to minutes using this site, https://www.verywell.com/pedometer-step-equivalents-for-exercises-and-activities-3435742. It's not perfect but it's a good general idea of calories burned when I use the MFP exercise log as well.0
