Hi. I am using Scosche Rhythm+ and synced it with my Huawei Mate 8 Android phone and MMF. I wanted to make a test, to check if the calories estimated through MMF are accurate. So i have chosen tradmill as an activity, allready filled my profile (age 36, weight 87 Kgrs height 183 cm) and just tracked the activity for 8 minutes. I was just hanging around so my HR was AVG -- 65 bpm | MIN -- 58 bpm | MAX -- 79 bpm. But for this duration and that avg HR, MMF calculates that i have burned 117cal. Wow!!! Feel like getting 2 icecreams right now :). Does anyone have a suggestion about this overestimaiton problem? I am also thinking of Wahoo app, but i do not know if anyone has some suggestions. Than you in advance.

Also did a test with Wahoo and Garmin Forerunner 310XT. As fas as calories concerned, those 2 seem pretty close. After an 8 minute treadmil run (Garmin has no such activity, just used running) the calories burned are up to 14 (Wahoo) or 12 (Garmin). This makes much more sense. I understand not being able to calculate my calories burned in gym workout excercises, but why not in treadmill? Really dissapointed....

A lot of tracking programs like Map My Run include all the calories burned...including your BMR.
