I'm a military spouse and I spend my days at home doing nothing. I decided with all this time on my hands there was no reason why I couldn't start doing something to lose this weight. I am currently 237 and my goal is 160. That's 77 lbs to lose. I am going to start walking everyday and doing some yoga a few times a week. I also plan to start counting calories. I am going to see what I can do with 1500/day. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

I'm from MD too and want to lose weight. One of my biggest problems is time. I work full time, am married and have 3 kids who have a lot of activities that keep way busier than I want to be, so its hard to fit in exercise. I am trying to go to the gym at work during lunch to get healthier and just started on here (again) a couple of days ago. Welcome aboard and good luck! Feel free to add me if you want.

So we have opposite schedules but the same problem. Honestly, I feel like the only excuse I have now for not losing weight is laziness!
