Yawning while I walk

So I started this journey back in April. 99% of my exercise is walking. More recently when I go for a walk I find my self yawning an awful lot. It only happens when I walk though. My normal day activities I'm not tired and I get plenty of sleep and I never find myself yawning.

Just curious if anyone else has heard of this happening. Maybe it's my body's way of saying dude I'm bored do something else.

A few weeks ago I yawned a lot after a golf game (lots of walking). Years ago I had a couple of strength training sessions at the gym where I yawned a lot. These aren't "I'm sleepy" yawns. More like I'm deficient in something. Oxygen? I've been meaning to ask the community about this myself. I did a search on this a while ago and there was an old thread on the topic with no real answers.

I don't think I'm overheated...I always have plenty of water to drink and it is getting cooler outside. I walked almost everyday at lunch during the summer and I don't recall it happening then and I was HOT those days and sweating a lot.

I just started running at the gym as well and not yawning during that as well.

I get that maybe I am needing more oxygen but why wasn't happening months ago. Just seams odd. Walking the same pace/roads/distances.

I could see this, as no matter what time I go out, I'm still dealing with the Texas heat. And the yawning definitely reduces when I get insidr in the A/C.

The article says it doesn't happen when it's hot out or cold, just temperate. Could well be something else though.
