I was more of a prune juice maniac on again/off again thing...
I just recently started drinking it again...
i didn't really pay attention to it much until I've noticed something...
I drank 1/4 cup of prune juice every single day the past two months after dinner...
what I've noticed is... at least once or twice a week i have a watery stool...
all other days its completely normal...I don't get it...
I know if you overdrink prune juice you can have diarrhea problems, but I don't even drink that much...why do i have at least one or two times in the week that has this problem after dinner?
Sorry if the post is a bit disgusting...

Well, prune juice does have a mild laxative effect regardless of whether you drink a lot or not. OTOH, it may be effecting you on some days & not others because of the other things you're eating that day. For example: If you have too much fiber in one day (around 40g), you can get loose stools (weird, huh?).1

Oh...maybe that's why. Thank you for your helpful responsr.1 -
The sugar in prunes is mainly sorbitol (with some fructose)--this is a totally normal side effect (and the reason why many people actually eat prunes or drink prune juice).0
