hello all!

i've only been using fitness pal for about a month but i absolutely LOVE IT, and i've definitely been seeing results! hope everyone is doing great! wanted to take the opportunity to say hello and also ask a question!

does anyone have any super healthy low calorie breakfast ideas that are enough to fill you up till lunch time? i usually have whole wheat toast but i find myself hungry again around 12!

suggestions would be much appreciated! :)

Try adding some protein like eggs or even almond butter to your toast. Also, if there's too much time between when you eat your breakfast and lunch try adding a snack in between like a few almonds with a piece of fruit.
  • my favorite thing for breakfast is a healthy life light whole grain reduced sodium english muffin with 1 tbsp skippy whipped peanut butter. it has 155 calories and i always seem full, but im also pretty busy and just may not notice. :)

My staple breakfast is 7-grain sprouted bread with 1/2 TBS of sunflower butter and 1/2 a banana. Its around 180 calories and it keeps me full for a while. Also a veggie omlette or scramble is always good.. 1 egg and 2 egg whites with lots of chopped veggies and a sprinkle of whatever cheese you fancy. I normally use cheddar.

Here's a few links to my other favorites.

Oatmeal, one of the heathier instants or make your own, topped with nuts (I like walnuts) and fruit (my favs or bananas and blueberries). It is very filling and will tide you over until lunch, especially with a small glass of juice or milk. McDonalds and Starbucks offer healthy oatmeals if you have to grab breakfast out.

I find that Oatmeal with Skim milk and berries is great way to go also Fresh fruit salad with low fat yoghurt and coffee or tead seems to keep me going. I also try to drink a fair amount of water between meals as sometimes i'm just thirsty and not that hungry. Hope this helps.
  • I eat cantalope. Or a banana.

    Hi everyone,

My breakfast keeps me until lunch, with one snack (nectarine or kiwi).
I00 gr (3 oz?) Astro Zero Fat Yogurt - comes with different flavors 35 cal.
1 Kellogg's All-Bran Bar - Oatmeal Cinnamon, or chocolate chip, or original 130 cal.
Add fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or anything you like.

I scrunch the Bran, before I open the wrapping, and sprinkle on top of yogurt, yummy.
