I recently found this site and love having a database with all the nutrition info. I've tried all kinds of diets and have been up and down with my weight for years never really losing much at a time. I've tried the diet pills always hoping for the magic one to melt all this fat away. Well, for some reason in March of this year it finally just clicked. I realized that for me to have the body I wanted not only was I going to have to actually eat right, but I had to do that dirty word - EXERCISE!!! So, at 138 lbs. I started doing the Zumba dvd's. I was able to lose 9-10 lbs. with that. It was sad that I was unable to get through the basic 20 minutes without having to pause it to catch my breath. Eventually though, I was able to get through the entire hour and the extra 20 minute ab exercises. I have now added in the TurboFire workouts which pretty much kick my butt. But that's okay because I know that it must be working. I am now down to 126. It's coming off so slow and it gets very frustrating. I'm 4'10" and I'm wanting to get to at least 115, maybe 110. My heaviest was around 165 lbs. I was able to bring that down initially with just walking and watching what I ate. I always said that if I could just get to 125 lbs, that I would be happy. Well, here I am and it's just not enough. So, I'm hoping to get lots of great tips, support and meet alot of awesome people that are traveling the same road as I am.

hey:happy: Glad to have you join us! We are all in this together. There are a lot of people on here who can encourage and answer any questions you have. I love being able to track what I am taking in and what I am burning in exercise. I use to sit and try to add it all up looking at a calorie count book and punching numbers into the adding machine:laugh: This way, I assure you is a lot better. Welcome!!!
