Your Weight Loss Journey: Best Advice

What has been the best advice you have lived by in your weight loss journey thus far?

I would have to say mine is this quote I heard: "One reason many people fail instead of succeed is that they trade what they want MOST for what they want at the MOMENT." Everytime I find myself daydreaming of donuts and potato chips, I think of this quote.

Also, advice I have taken to recently... Don't eat as many carbs after 2 pm because they are hardest to burn out of your system. And of course, drinking 8 glasses of water. It has done me well. :)

I figure if we all share a bit of advice, others will find something they can pick up and use in their own journey. Ya-know-what-I-mean? ;D

"Don't diet, just BE healthy" I live by this. It helps me not feel guilty when I give myself a treat and gets me off my butt when I need to workout!

Besides yours, the best thing I have is take one day to plan and prep meals for the week so that you have your decision already made as it lessons temptation. I plan my and make my breakfast and lunch for the whole week and make it all in the morning on sunday then portion it out son it makes it easy to grab and go for the week

That's pretty good! I've also heard a lot of people use "healthy living" instead of using the term diet. Makes me feel better :)

That sounds smart! What do you usually make for breakfast/lunch if you don't mind me asking?
