So once i wake up in the morning, i drink 2 full glasses of water. Then during workout, i drink another two glasses during the workout. Will that leave me 4 more glasses left or do those water consumptions not count?

Just stay hydrated...there is no correct amount of water...8 cups is just a generality and pretty arbitrary. I drink far more than that.6 -
All fluid counts -- it does not matter what time.0

Any liquid counts towards your hydration because everything we drink is mostly water. There's water in the foods that we eat, too. As long as you aren't thirsty and your urine is very light in color you are getting adequate water. Keep in mind that drinking water doesn't impact weight loss, either.1

Watch your urine. If it's very light yellow - almost water looking, then you're hydrated. If it's a darker yellow, then you need more. I just have a 32 oz water bottle. I drink two of them a day.1
