    I just read your profile too. Have the fibromyalgia and sleep apnea improved?

    Unfortunately, no :( - I asked my specialist and he said I'd need the CPAP machine always, which has dejected me a bit especially when you see all the extreme weight loss programmes where the first thing that goes is the CPAP.... but oh well.

    I also had to have a pacemaker fitted last November - because I've been very fortunate and qualified for reconstructive surgery on NHS when they started testing me they discovered I have a very slow heart rate, so fitted the pacemaker now instead of when I'm even older (I'm 60!!) so that I'm OK for the surgery.

    Good luck, I'm just waiting for my surgery date, I have my pre-op assessments in a couple of weeks.
