Bulking questions? Went over my calories

What's up all
I have been bulking for 3 weeks or so, I am still experimenting my calorie intake to find my bulking number.
My target this week was 2700 but I failed miserably and went over by a total of 400 for the whole week. I was over my calories everyday.
Shall I weigh myself tomorrow and see what I weigh, I am only trying to gain 1 lb a week or so.

    Weigh yourself and if you think it's over your 1lb goal, scale back.

    Remember that it takes some time to figure out your average weekly gain rate so you should look at the overall trend.

    I doubt 400 calories will make a huge difference. Just make sure you aren't gaining more than 0.5-1 pound per week and sticking to your macros and exercise plan.

    I just remembered my scale does not work, the battery ran out
    I will be more careful this week and consume only 2700 a day like normal, I will weigh myself next Sunday.

    I wouldn't sweat what is essentially being over your calories by 2%. That's certainly a very far cry from "miserable failure". Just the error in calorie counts alone is going to be more than that.

    Personally, I consider anything within +/- 5% to be meeting my goals.
