July 10th was my 6 month anniversary of using MFP. Since then I've lost 39.8 lbs. I haven't had a cigarette in 2 weeks and I'm still losing weight. I feel absolutely amazing. I owe so much of my success to my FABULOUS sister who has been in this journey with me from the beginning (she introduced me to MFP and has logged in everyday, too). I'm going to see her on Friday, I haven't seen her since late-April and I will be down almost 15 lbs from our last visit. I'm so excited!

I wasn't much into exercise. As a matter of fact, I led a pretty sedentary lifestyle sitting at my stupid computer. Now, I don't feel right if I don't get up and move. I can't run as far and as long as I'd like but I'm okay with that. I use my Wii on days when its too hot to go outside (which seems to be quite frequently the past few days). I'm completely in awe of how far I have come.

Lastly, I want to thank all of my MFP pals for showing their support. I know I slack in posting a comment on everyone's success. But believe you me, I read them all. But between posting my food/exercise, actually exercising, being a mom and being a full-time student I just don't have the energy.

I just want to say...IF I CAN DO IT, ANYBODY CAN DO IT!

    Congrats hun!

I stopped smoking 9 weeks ago and so far it has hindered my weightloss a little (but I am so close to goal weight I can live with it)

I think to loss weight AND stop smoking is a fabulous achievement - keep up the good work and well done you :-)

I purchased an e-cig and some Nicorette lozenges. I have no desire to purchase tobacco products again...ever! You can do it! I'm so glad I did. I'm at the yucky stage where my lungs are starting to clear out. But, I feel so much better.
