3 Day Shakeology Cleanse

Good Morning MFP! Well today starts the beginning of my 3 Day Shakeology cleanse! I choose this week as I am on holidays! I am hoping to break out of my plateau! I work out 6 days a week and sometimes twice a day. However this week as I am on holidays I will be working out alot more and taking advantage of all the exercise classes my gym has to offer.

I am curious for those that have done it what was the end result for you? How much weight did you loose etc?

    When I first did it, I was at my heaviest weight...in the high 150's area...I lost 6 lbs. I still worked out durin' the Shakeology Cleanse...
    BUT, it is a quick fix really - You really need to maintain what you eat afterwards. You have to eat clean, once it's done. The pounds you lost can come back on really quick.

    First day you may experience weakness, headaches etc. You need to follow the directions right. DRINK ALOT of water...You will do fine

    I did the cleanse last week. I lose 2 lbs and 1 inch from my waist.

    Be careful with your workouts - the cleanse is only 800-1100 cals a day - you might have to adjust that if you bump up your workouts. I did not work out at all when I did the cleanse.

    I would be extremely careful if you are going to workout a lot while doing the cleanse.

    Whenever I decide to do the 3-day cleanse, I am not planning on working out at all because during those 3 days I won't be eating enough to meet my daily calorie goal without exercise, so working out and burning a lot of calories may not be safe.

    Just be careful, and don't workout too hard.

    I think I will try it with you but I need my morning coffee :) Not sure if I will make it I do not feel like the shakes taste very good personally but it may get me back on track!

    You have a cup of green tea before you have your first shake of the day. I am not a tea drinker at all so this will be something new.

    you can have coffee, you just cant add creamer/sugar.

    I have actually been using Shakeology for the past i think 4 months I love it! Thanks! I will keep everyone updated!

    More than likely I will be moving it from water to almond milk or tropicana 50 oj...don't like the taste of the water mixed with the shake. But I will do that on Day 2 & Day 3!

    My workouts normally consist of strength training, 40 minutes to 1hr and 3 days of cardio if that. So I will just be incorporating more cardio. I am also starting to train for my first 5K in October once this cleanse is finished.

    When I worked out it was only to 'POWER90', the workout I was doin' at the time. - the simple workout of the P90 series... Besides I am huge workout freak - but each to their own as they say...Just depends how you feel really...I normally worked out first thing in the mornin' after my first shake.

    How to Do the 3 Day Shakeology Cleanse: Directions

    1.Drink 3 Shakeology shakes a day (mix with water only)
    2.Have a salad in the evening for dinner with 4 ounces of protein, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and vinegar dressing, and 1 tablespoon of flax seed, chia seeds, or hemp seed
    3.Drink plenty of water. Coffee, tea, and herbal teas are okay, as long as no sugar or cream is added.

    day 2 into my shakeology cleanse. lost 3.8 lbs so far.
    im doing this during my insanity recovery week.

    im concern about the food im going to eat after the cleanse is finish and gaining back the weight esp since ive a few b-days to celebrate this month.

    help! what to eat after this 3-day cleanse?!
