Give me strength to resist the lure of those scales for two

I couldn't believe what happened when I walked into the bathroom this morning. My bathroom scales were sitting there TAUNTING me! They kept trying to lure me over so that I would step on them two days early to check my weight. So I grabbed a bath towel and threw that on top of them and left. But I think that I can still hear them calling my name faintly...

    The same thing happened to me this morning!!!

    It was horrible. But I am going to the doctor this afternoon and figured I would find out then so better just find out now. I gave in.

    But don't do it!!!!!!! Completely not worth it!!

    I know...at work we have a big bucket of icing( because we sell it in bulk) it was sitting there in the back room taunting me!! I threw a dish towel over it and turned my back

    You can do it! :flowerforyou: It so much better to wait.

    I'm glad the scale I use is nextdoor (husband's grandmother's house), or else I would probably be tempted to weigh-in more often too! It would drive me totally insane to see how much my weight must fluctuate throughout the week.

    Thank you all for your support! I've made it this far today so I'm sure I can hold out until Sunday. Although I think I heard the poor little thing gasping for air once or twice from being under that heavy towel all day. My hubby laughed about it when he got home for work so I told him to watch out or he would be facing the same fate as the scales! :bigsmile:

    I weigh daily. No real reason I just do. What I used to do when I weighed weekly was weigh myself and then put the scale under the sink cause otherwise I was on it sometimes 5 times a day. I was making myself sick. SO if you face temptation again you might want to fine somwhere to put it.
