Defiantly the UA Band. It automatically syncs with MFP and it's pretty accurate compared to other heart rate monitors I've bought.
  • Oh thanks MarlowJo I'll check it out now

I've been looking at the Garmin Vivoactive HR. I need something more than a tracker with built in GPS. I wish it was more stylish so I can wear in the office.

Hopefully this Black Friday will have some sweet deals on wearables.
  • I'll look into that one never heard of it just looked at ua band doesn't really impress me?

I use my iPhone with an app called Endomondo, then I pair my phone with a Polar H7 Heart Rate Monitor to make it's calorie burn estimates more accurate. It's been working great for me for almost 1.5 years, and it's up to 90% accurate. I tried a fitbit, found it to be only about 60% accurate, and most exercise machines, for me at least are less accurate. Everyone is different though, so no matter what device you choose you need to watch it's calorie burns, and decide over time how accurate they are for you. None are 100% accurate, so start at eating back only 50% of what they sync to MFP, then if you lose weight faster than expected, eat more back. Once you get to the point that your weight loss slows a bit adjust the amount you eat back down. Over time you'll figure out how accurate your device is and what you can safely eat back of those exercise calories.
