Morning and night weight recording

Hello, I wonder if anyone knows whether it is possible to track/record weight here twice a day i.e. the morning weight and the weight at the end of the day? Thanks.

    Why? You're pretty much always going to weigh more in the evening after ingesting food and drink...

    to what end? Your weight will be up at the end of the day most days. Im not aware of any dual day recording features.

    1x/day is more than enough. evening weight ins will not benefit much, too much variability based on what you ate and did that day

    Totally better for morale to weigh in the morning. Depending on your goals, of course

    why...when you weigh yourself at night you're just weighing everything you've ingested which has nothing to do with fat and it's just going to skew data...once per day in the AM is fine...most people are far better off just weighing in once per week though.

    Agree 100 percent to once a week. I weigh on wed in case the weekend was filled with dining out .

    To answer your actual question (despite my doubts about there being any good reason to do this, but hey, more data is good, if it doesn't create anxiety, obsessiveness, etc.), you would have to create a new tracking category yourself (or two new tracking categories, if you don't want to use the existing weight category for one of them).

    I only know how to this on the website. Click on home, then click on check-in. At the bottom of the list of default categories that you can track, click on "track additional measurements," then scroll to the bottom where it says "add another measurement." You could create a "morning weight" and a "night weight" category.

    I know you probably just want an answer on how to accomplish it, but it's not good to weigh yourself twice a day.

    This can start you down a pretty serious obsessive/eating disorder road.

    Cheers for responses everyone. Even in the morning I have found my weight to fluctuate rather too much. 6.30 am and then 9 am, after just a coffee will beam it up by .5 to 1 kg. I fail to understand how that happens but it usually is always up. I blame it on the machine! Hence I was contemplating taking weight in the evening.

    coffee isn't weightless....

    just weigh once a week, at the same time.

    Um you know coffee has weight so drinking will make you temporarily gain weight

    My husband was weighing before and after exercise! I didn't know if he thought he was weighing the sweat that he had eliminated or what. Even then, it is only water weight that he was measuring and not a lasting result. Take it easy on yourself and measure your loss on a weekly basis. And then, look at the overall loss, instead of a weekly result. Even these vary over the course of a month due to a woman's cycle. Sounds to me like you are overly obsessed with the result of a scale measurement. over time you will see the results in your own body, clothing fit and other things.

    Once a day when you wake but after a stop in the bathroom 1st. This will be the most consistent. It is even better if you get a WiFi connected scale that logs the reading for you. The graphs of your weight change can be quite revealing.

    Thanks for the replies all. Been weighing once a day (before breakfast). Very slow loss progress I must say, even though I am taking care of what and how much I eat. Unfortunately I've had a fall and injury and impending operation of both knees in October so that has put a stop to the walks. But, need to lose to optimum weight in any case so as to keep the pressure off knees.

    To respond to those who wrote if I am obsessing about weight, a bit yes, but because any loss for me is a massive motivation to continue eating healthy, and I am impatient, so a 100gm loss a day is still enough to motivate me to continue eating healthy. I have lost about a kg in 9 days. Real test will be next 4 days when I am home with parents and will have home-cooked dishes to resist!
