So stupid question here do you burn more calories exercising when it's hot I just ran and the heat index was 104

I find that I burn more calories in the heat, but that my motivation drops a lot as the temperature rises!
Please make sure you're staying hydrated if you're running in such warm temperatures!!0 -
The difference in the amount you burn due to heat is negligible. If you you heart rate is higher exercising in the heat you may burn more, but if not the difference would be next to none.0

I read somewhere that you burn more calories due to your heart having to work harder in the heat. But I also read that in the cold your body burns more fat from your muscle shivering to stay warm.0
