Calorie breakdown

If I set my daily calories at 1800 what is a good breakdown for proteins, carbs and fat. I currently have it at 40% protein and 30% each carbs and fat. The defaults was 50% carbs, 20% protein and 30% fat

    Why not try the defaults--which are based on standard nutritional guidelines, and see how it goes. You can always adjust if it isn't working for you

    40c, 30p & 30f works well for me. The default was not near enough protein to keep me feeling full. Now I actually just think of my protein goal as a minimum and let the others fall wherever.

    Ok brilliant. I changed the default as I find protein the best to fill me up and I also work out with weights and exclusively breastfeed. I want lean muscle so I figure eating protein is the best way.
