I don't know how to get started.. What do I do I'm so confused

Firstly, go to your profile and put in all the information it asks for - age, weight, target loss per week (set it at 2lbs - no point in going mad) etcetera. Then add friends and then message me.1

Read the sticky threads at the top of this forum is a great start point. Knowledge is always a good thing!
Don't over complicate it. Don't feel you have to change everything all at once.
Think ahead and really consider long term adherence - the speed at which you get to your goal matters far less than actually getting to your goal.
Don't have unreasonable expectations and don't expect a totally smooth ride!1 -
Pick one thing at a time to changes, makes it easier to follow through with changes.,Logging food is a good first goal and just be really honest and see how it adds up and then make healthier changes. Using MFP keeps me on track and helps me plan ahead for food.0
