Hello out there
Started last week and my weight appears to be in yo-yo mode. Is it normal for weight to go down by almost 500 g and then 2 days later over starting weight? Am I perhaps under-calculating my calories allowed?? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Do a 60 minute aerobic workout 3x week.

Well it's hard to know for sure. Weight does fluctuate, and weight loss isn't linear. That said, people do tend to underestimate calories unless using a food scale. So I would recommend getting one if you don't use one currently. Are you eating back your exercise calories? MFP overestimates calories burned so I'd suggest only eating back 1/2 of them at most. Drink lots of water, and watch salt intake as water retention can mask any loss.
Read through some of the other getting started threads for more helpful hints too. Good luck!0
