Can you provide some more information? What are your stats? How are you measuring your calorie intake? Is this exercise new or increased from before? Are you at or nearing ovulation/TOM? Are you weighing on your boyfriend's scale every time and under the same conditions?

Do you have a food scale and use it when portioning out your food? And yeah did you weigh yourself on your boyfriend's scale both times, and at the same time of day? Also, remember that there are natural weight fluctuations, particularly if you are a woman. You need to look for trends, not day-by-day comparisons.

Different scales read differently. Stick to the same scale at the same time of day (I choose first thing in the morning, naked, after I pee.) For more information, check out this awesome chart by @lemonlionheart.

Be careful with scales they are the Devil's minions. Seriously though, scales are tricky. You should weigh yourself once or twice per month. For women avoid weighing near the start, during, and week after your period b/c your body will retain more water meaning more added pounds that aren't really supposed to be there. Make sure to use the same scale if possible and weigh yourself at the same time.

The better way to tell weight loss is how your clothes fit you. My weight goes up and down about 6 - 8 lbs. However, when I put on a 3XL t-shirt I can tell that number doesn't mean anything b/c the shirt is looser than before and fits even better.

Im measuring my calories through the my fitness pal; Ive done long walks but never timed them, and i just got over my period a week ago. I have a food scale and will be using it more often; thanks for reminding me of it
No, i dont go on my boyfriends scale often for he lives in a different city and i dont get to visit as often as i used to, but when i do, most of the time it says i weight less than what i do at home

I am on birth control; and yes one of the side effects is weight gain; would that have a major affect on me?

I work at an Arby's and im surrounded by fast food a good majority of the week, and let me tell you its hard not to snack while your at work.

Thank you all for your reply's
They made me feel so much better and more motivated.
    THANK YOU

A+ on the food scale usage!

Different scales will show different weights. Stick to one and make sure when you weigh yourself it's in a consistent manner (first thing in the morning, after using the bathroom and before eating/drinking, wearing the same amount of clothing).

Every bite has calories. If you taste anything at work through the day it can add up faster than you realize. If you bite it write it! After you measure or weigh it of course.
Sodium may also be a problem.

Birth control doesn't normally have much effect. The old pills (which only used one type of hormone at much higher doses) could cause 5-10 lbs, not more. But the new generation (around last 5-10 years) which are called combined pills or mini pills have been shown to have no direct impact on weight. The only effect is if they make you a bit moody (I've found this at times when I'm adjusting) where you might be tempted to comfort eat. No direct impact on weight though. And even on the old generation, not more than 5-10 lbs, and not in even case.
