Where the heck is everyone:noway: :noway: :noway: ....geezzz...:huh: take a morning away from the computer and no one starts our thread....:grumble: :grumble: :grumble: :laugh: Just like home, I have to do everything myself....:laugh:
Okay, so how is everybody doing this fabulous Friday??? I have the day off work today so I got to the Y early and did a half hour of cardio and then a total body workout on the machines. Later I will go to my strength class. Doing well on eating so far, and even had a little dessert at lunch with my mom since I had plenty of cals to eat...:bigsmile:
So....let me hear from my friends on your Thursday success/regret and encouragement for the weekend!!! :drinker:

Good afternoon!!!
Yesterday, was a "bad" day in terms of the kiddos. Therefore, yesterday turned into a rest day. I did drink all of my water though and stayed just under 1200 calories.
Today...back on track. I've done 20 min Turbo Jam AB Jam, 45 min Turbo Jam Cardio Party, and the Turbo Jam 20 min workout. I'm intending to do 30 minutes of pilates later this evening too.

Sigh....I'm very frustrated. Today is weigh in day and I'm up a pound. I've been here three weeks and I just keep gaining. I've also managed to injure my knee and now cannot do my typical cardio. I tend to forget I'm nearly 50 and my doctor told me 30 years ago that I should not run. I've been having so much fun with my new HRM but I decided I should do intervals during my hour cardio session. It was a blast...well until it wasn't! :grumble: So now I limp around not able to go at my usual speed, gaining weight and becoming very frustrated.
It seems to be a pattern with me, the more I pay attention, the more I gain. What's up? I don't get THAT!
I'm looking forward to a low key date night with my hubby tonight and starting fresh tomorrow. I know this will take some time to figure out but sheesh! :sad:0 -

Wildkat...I'm so sorry to hear about your knee...
I'm not much of a runner, but ask round to some of the runners on here to see if they have any advice on getting you back up and going....

As you'll see by when I started MFP (March 08), my weightloss journey has not been a consistant one...lots of ups/downs and a very long period of just maintaining...continue to give it some time...it WILL happen! :flowerforyou:0 -
I knew I was forgetting something today!!! Checking in! DUHHHHHH!!!
Had a great day yesterday. Did only 1/2 hr of cardio and 1/2 of strength training.....only ate half of those calories back so all in all, I had about 400 left over. I'm hoping they are like rollover minutes and can use them up tonight.:smokin:
Sorry to hear about your knee, wildkat. That really stinks.:frown: But don't get flustered about the 1 lb gain or any of the rest. I've learned that sometimes I am really, SUPER good and don't drop a lb. Then....out of nowhere....the scale suddenly drops five all at once. That has always happened to me and I used to let it really get me down. I'm not a betting gal, but I would stake money on it that that will happen with you too. Just keep going because you are doing great.:flowerforyou:

I thought I was going to blow it today since my husband wanted pizza for dinner but nope, I did great!!! I managed to stay under my calories by 160. I think I can have something sweet soon... I got the Papa Johns whole wheat pizza. It is delicious!!!! I am going to weigh in on Monday. Going out with a friend tomorrow night to a Spanish Tapas Bar, oh my!! But I am planning on going on a long run with hubby tomorrow so I should be able to earn some good extra calories...:flowerforyou:0

My weakness...
Although, I've cut it out entirely during the week. I used to "have a few" every so often during the week, but I'm doing good!!
Right now....not so much. I'm 3 deep... Drinking rum, rather than beer, so I guess that helps, right??0
