Advice on how to quickly lose 5 pounds so I can reach my goal?

No way to lose fat quickly. You could quickly lose water weight but if you want to lose meaningful weight - meaning body fat - you have to eat in a mild calorie deficit and exercise. It will take several weeks.3

It depends. What is your current weight? Bigger people lose weight faster. If you're a small to medium sized person, half to one lb per week is normal, so between 5 and 10 weeks to do that.
Just continue logging your calories accurately, and ensure there's a deficit when you offset your exercise against your eating.1 -
If you only have 5 lbs total to lose you need to aim for losing a half lb a week and get very accurate with your logging.1
