for ease of logging, I consider my day in MFP to include everything from when I wake on said day, until when I go to bed. I work 1700-0300, usually have some form of snack between 0000 and 0300 to hold me over but I will log it on the previous day to keep everything together.

I wish my fitbit would do the same though, sometimes I will get a few thousand steps after midnight and it wont count towards the previous day.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks.. Its been confusing how to track since i will sleep from 0700 til noon - eat and sleep again for 2 hours then sometimes eat at 5pm if not i eat on meal break at 2200 and then im done for evening unless i have a yogourt or coffee.

    Hey!
So I do my logging differently as I have a different way of eating. When I wake up around 16:00, I prepare dinner for my family and that is my first meal of the day and I go along until breakfast. The way I input my info starts from midnight to midnight. Usually when I come to work for 23:30, I enter my coffee as starting at midnight. Then I will enter the snacks I eat here and the lunch I have premade. Once I wake up form my sleep, the last entry for my day would be my dinner entry. In order to make my logging easier, I customized my labels to reflect the midnight to midnight.
I'm sure you will find something that works for you. :)
    Good luck!
