Oh god, I haven't logged my weight since 22nd as I know it's not good. Fiancé had his birthday last Friday then I had mine on Monday so there's been a few days of lots of food and drink. Plus now it's TOM and I'm retaining water. It's going to be a big gain when I weigh in tomorrow. Could do with an accountability challenge!0

12/09: 158lb
17/09: 157.2lb
23/09: 157.2lb
30/09: 158.8lb
Overall +0.8lb so not as bad as I thought it would be! Still means I have 9.8 in 6 weeks to go though.1 -
Still doing the exercise challenge. I'm always committing to exercise. My problem is the night eating. I eat healthy all day without effort and have for years. In the evening I lose it. Not binge eating, but too much. If I could get that under control I would be able to lose the 10 pounds.1

Hi! I posted you a reply. Not too good at this technology stuff. I don't practice it enough. Thank you for keeping in touch with me. I feel that is something that is missing, is being able to connect with a buddy. How are you doing?

No loss this week, but I had a great NSV. Someone noticed and commented on my weight loss and complimented me on looking good. That's encouraging even when the scale is not cooperating.2

Morning - great news on exercise!! I didn't get as far as doing with weights but enjoyed having a challenge - to get it done! I'm same on a night... You up for a 'don't eat anything after 7.30pm' challenge? This will be a killer for me but I might drink more water this way too!0 -
Weigh in:
12/09 - 164lbs
18/09 - 162lbs
23/09 - 162lbs - must try harder
03/10 - 162lbs - frustrated
But completely understandable - last night we had a massive family dinner with all the trimmings and lots of wine!

Totally forgot to weigh last week, because I was ill. And I've put everything back on again - but it's probably just a blip. Here's to the next week!

18/9 - 219.6 (-1.6lb)
25/9 - ?
2/10 - 221.2 :-(1 -

That will be difficult! But I'm enjoying our back & forth support. I'll give it a good try. Even if I cut back that would be great for me.

Okay, lets see how this goes for me! Starting at 167 on 9-11:
9/11-- 167
9/14--166
9/17--165
9/23--164
9/28--162

10/5 159.0
I can already feel the difference. Have need doing great weekdays with some backsliding on weekends. Will keep at it.2 -
Here I was thinking how slow this whole process is. I was just looking at my own numbers and it really helps to see the progression.1

I have mostly just been following the MFP goals for calories. I tend to go a little lower carb and higher fat than they recommend, but it is what helps keep my appetite under control. The weight I lost between the 23-28 is what I think could have been PMS water weight. I always stall the week before "that" takes place, and a few days later I see a pound or so fall off. I don't do a ton of exercise other than walking. My calorie intake is set to lose a pound a week and MFP put me at 1,420 calories, and I usually come close to it. If I don't use them up I assume it means I can safely have a midnight snack without it being an issue. I hope to keep seeing at least a pound a week come off for the next 10 pounds.1 -
I did lose a pound this week, but I'm feeling less motivated. I'm planning meals ahead to stay on track, hoping not to backslide.2

That is always one of the biggest challenges. For whatever reason lack of motivation can creep up and and as you mention we will back slide or fight very hard not to. I hope you regain your motivation! Just take a look at how far you have come no matter if it's a 5 lb loss or 50 lb loss. All progress is good and even small bits here and there add up to the larger end goal! Don't give up and just post back if you need a kick in the pants to keep going!2 -

Well, I am certainly not where I wanted to be at this part of the challenge, but it is what it is. I have been doing really well with my eating the past several days. I hope to keep with it. I am leaving for another business trip on Friday. I probably should not be doing a challenge this fall, but doing this helps me keep from completely going off the rails. Not sure if I will have access to a scale at the hotel. I like to weigh in once a week. I tried doing the daily weigh in, and it just messed with my head. Tracking right now is writing down what I eat and making sure I drink tons of water and exercise 30 mins a day. Even the MFP calorie counting was starting to make me feel too obsessed. I just want to fit into my clothes again!2 -

4weeks in and 3lb down - I also measure my wobbly bits : arms, back, bust, belly, hips and thighs and I'm down 17cm in total. Really pleased this week.0 -
Suebee143 - you're doing great!! Keep tracking this week... And keep up with the exercise... even in your hotel room! Good luck with this weeks 1lb - not that you'll need it X1

Thanks, bobbylou. :-) I need all the luck I can get! We are really busy at work right now and I am surrounded by treats from appreciative clients... where is my apple?1
