new to my fitness pal

Hello i'm new to fitness pal. wanting to lose about 10kg but would be happy with a few :-)
have tried this several times before - eat well for a couple of weeks - then give up and start eating/drinking too much and go back up - until i try again the following year.
i've heard the community support here is good - so hoping this will be my change for me :-)

    I have struggled with weight my whole life. Or so I thought I struggled when I was younger and I see pictures of my younger self and think...why was I so hard on myself then. I have had two kids and been married about 6 years. I have struggled to loose weight by changing my eating habits. Once I get on an workout kick I'm good to maintain it but then get discouraged because I don't see results. I know where my weaknesses are it is overcoming them I have difficulty with. I am a stay at home mom and love to cook and back, I struggle finding the right recipes my kids will actually eat. I am new to my fitness pal as well and I'm really hoping that tracking will give me the strength I need to finally get on the right track.
