October lose 10 lb Challenge

This is just a straight up motivational challenge! I want and need to lose around 100 lbs total, but figure 10 lbs is a good start for the month of October!
Check in with your starting weight and challenge weight!

As you know, this site recommends no more than two pounds per week. That is an awfully aggressive weight loss plan you're suggesting.
With that said, since you are pretty high in weight, you'll likely be able to reach that goal with some dedication. Someone of a higher weight is the only one who should attempt this, though. It's risky and presents a big stress to your body in general. I hope you will use this as a kick-start, but then settle down into a more measured and healthier approach.

Thank you for the advice and I will adjust the goal to 10 lbs. If I surpass then great, if not I know I can do 10!!1

Oh, you changed it from fifteen pounds to ten. Good idea.
That big of a weight loss should still be considered only by people who are in the obese category and who are eating no less than 1200 for a woman and no less than 1500 for a man. Anything lower and really there should be a doctor or registered dietician involved.
The stress you put on your body by under-eating or too-rapid weight loss is significant if it is continued for any length of time, so just beware of how you are feeling, and try to eat well-balanced meals.
