Loving myfitnesspal

Lost about 12 pounds but have now hit a plateau. So, I enrolled in a gym. Just from the evaluation of accessing my ability - I cannot walk down the stairs! lol I have a long way to go, but I'm confident that exercise with myfitnesspal will get me results. I try to track my food every day and have changed what kinds of foods I eat. I now eat mostly veggies and some fruit and my carbs are decreased and I choose good fats. I hope to lose 30 more. Does anyone have any success stories to motivate?

    Hi there. Good job on your 12 pounds gone already!! I'm not a success story yet but I'm getting there.
    I started on 12/28/15 and I'm down 37 pounds. My first month was the easiest, just falls off.
    The biggest step for me was realizing I wasn't going to give up. I went the whole month of July, logged in, but didn't log food. I gained 4 pounds and hated the way I felt. That was the ah ha moment for me. So when I have bad weekends I don't let that stop me, I get right back up and keep going.
    This isn't sprint, it's a marathon..slow and steady wins the race! :smiley:
