I cant seem to loose this weight. I eat less then 1200 calories a day, and I exercise 2 to 4 times a week and some reason I can't seem to loose more then 2 pounds. Any suggestions.

There's your problem. Look up the '700 calories a day and not losing' thread. When your body perceives starvation, it will slow growth and repair to reserve energy, thus your metabolism 'slows'.
  • yeah could absolutely be starvation mode. more is less, sometimes!

MFP will never put you below 1200 cals. If it did, its a site glitch. :ohwell:

Are you eating your exercise cals? At least some of them? Maybe even overestimating exercise cals? Drinking water? Logging every bit of food that goes into your mouth?

I'm not saying you do or don't already do these things, they are just common mistakes that people don't always know about. :flowerforyou:

I am also having trouble losing weight, but try to focus less on the scale and more on how healthy you are becoming. Give it at least 2 months, and if you really feel like you are doing everything right but still not losing weight - see a doctor. I have already made myself an appointment.

Just hang in, and log all of your calorie intake....you'll lose it! It's a math equation. Calories in - calories out = weight loss or gain. Exercise is for toning and building muscle mass (and preventing muscle loss), which weighs more by volume than fat mass. Juat be patient and keep improvimg your daily eating habits. You'll get there!!
