Needing new recipes!

I'm still pretty new at eating healthy and watching carbs and all of that...I've been eating celery sticks, carrot sticks, yogurt, protein shakes and then mainly baked chicken or fish for dinner. I'm starting to get burnt out on the same things day after day. I'm also a single mom of one picky 7 year old girl, if anyone has any good/easy/fast recipes or know of any helpful websites I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance

Maybe look into the egg white turkey muffin cups as well, that might break up the monotony of the hard boiled eggs (and trust me i can relate to this monotony).2

One trick for finding supper inspiration is just googling the ingredients in your fridge that need using and then the word recipes. For example, there's a chicken breast and some summer squash that need using. Google "chicken summer squash recipe" and a whole passel of recipes pops up. Almost any recipe can be played with to limit calories, etc.
As for a kid-friendly option, make homemade chicken nuggets in the oven and sweet potato oven fries, sure, but don't forget that challenging her boundaries with food now will help her develop her tastes and healthy eating habits for her future.

Try 2 scrambled eggs and one rasher of bacon and one slice of toast for breakfast. Filling and should keep everyone full to lunch. Only an idea.1

It sounds counter intuitive but using a slow cooker makes dinner time quick and easy. We simply put our ingredients into the slow cooker in the morning and the meal is ready when you get home from work. It's great for curry, bolognese, fajitas, stew... And you can mix up your meats or sauces and have a pretty varied meal plan
As far as living on celery - there's actually no need as long as you remain in your calorie deficit.
Protein shakes - unless you have a daily protein target you are struggling to meet, you could ditch them and save your calories for real food.
I am a huge advocate of tracking macros. Google flexible dieting or IIFYM for some background. But essentially you can eat whatever foods you like as long as they fit your macros. So you can have a donut or chocolate or whatever you like as long as you track it and stay within your allowances. For me it was a liberating discovery3 -

Sustainability is the name of the game and chicken boobs and celery, after some time, is the worst.
Ideas:
We love street tacos. Super Simple: corn tortillas, shredded chicken (slow cooked, grilled and seasoned or even pre-packaged), cilatro, lime juice. Hot sauce. Done and done. Kids may not like the combo, but they tend to be good on picking apart the tortilla and meat.
Breakfasat sandwich (for dinner- why not): microwave egg in a small, english muffin size dish. Slap into english muffin with chees and maybe a slice of some meat (if you're into that). Donez.

The possibilities are endless really. I follow Skinnytaste on fb and they have LOTS of great, healthy meals. Also "Diary of a fit mommy" has lots of good, yummy but healthy snacks/meals. My 9yr old loves apple slices w/peanut butter. Good mix of fat/protein/carbs/fiber.1

Today I had 2 thin slices of cucumber as the "bread" of my turkey & cheese sandwich. The cheese was an Aldi version of the reduced fat laughing cow cheese wedges. 25 calories per wedge.1

I've been marinating my chicken in McCormick dry marinade by using all water and no oil like they suggest (usually about 1/2 per envelope, along with a splash of apple cider vinegar). 2 envelopes for 4 pounds of chicken, then bake on a sheet pan at 350 for about 30-35, depending on the thickness of the meat. Mesquite and Brown Sugar/Bourbon are my favorites currently. Used Garlic and Herb for my lunches last week which was spaghetti squash, barilla bacon and cheese marinara, and slices of chicken. Was delicious and filled me up! And with all that chicken in the fridge, you can make lots of things with it1
