With diagnosed disease, discuss this with the doctor treating you, or the registered dietician (s)he refers you to.6

Yeah, please ask to be referred to a dietician. We're not in any way qualified to be dispensing advice to someone with such a chronic, life threatening condition.2
-
Also, if this is self-diagnosed (I'm not accusing you, it's just that you never know, we get all kinds on here, please don't be offended if this doesn't apply to you) eating for a kidney issue that you might not have could actually eff up your kidneys. So seconded on the above advice to talk to your doctor who diagnosed it, he or she has a medical ethical responsibility to give you this information or to direct you to someone who can.1

The reason for asking here is because I thought someone else may be in a same sitution, as far as self diagonesd you should be ashamed of your self, who in the world would want this, sorry I asked, you were all real helpful, Not.

But that isnt what you asked. You asked for help "with things I can eat that wont interfere with my kidneys".
It would be irresponsible to answer that as few of us are doctors, and even fewer are kidney specialists.
Seriously, speak to your health providers.

The advice still stands that you should be asking your doctor about your diet. How do you know someone here won't give you wrong information that harms you further?1 -

The DaVita website is loaded with recipes: https://www.davita.com/recipes/0 -

Because, often, all those visits cost $100 each. And, they'll only give you pointers to other resources, really. And, you only see them once every 6 months or so, depending on if your levels are stable or not.1 -
A reliable source of information for this is https://www.kidney.org/nutrition.2

But it can be very dangerous to eat according to suggestions of random people on the internet who are not familiar with your exact medical history.3 -

This is the internet...there are all kinds here...I've been here for over four years and all kinds of stuff goes on...there are also a lot of people here who have various diseases and go against the advice of actual medical professionals and who think doctors are all worthless...so if someone like that was giving you advice...well, probably not the best advice, and could do more harm than good.
At any rate, randoms on an internet forum is really not the place...there are plenty of useful sites dedicated to your disease if you can't see a dietitian.

OP probably self-diagnosed. You don't go to your Dr. or to a Nephrologist and told you have kidney disease - and then sent out the door with just your payment receipt. You would be given much information about the condition and what foods to avoid or what you can have. I know many people with kidney disease and they don't ask strangers what they should eat.
I wouldn't be so sure. I have crohn's and my GI is totally oblivious to nutrition but I did go to a dietitian who has experience with GI patients.0 -

Not true. My dad was recently told he has stage 3 renal disease and he was told to avoid what the OP initially posted and that was it. come back in 4 months to repeat labs. Doctors aren't nutritionists/dieticians and their information is limited as to what they can provide a patient unless they choose to learn. Just look at all the crappy information others have been given here for weight loss.

A GP is just going to diagnose...they may have some other pointers, but their scope is overly broad to provide a ton of specific information. My dad had kidney disease and he was referred to both a urologist and a dietitian...the only thing is primary did was diagnose the blood work.1 -

I suppose I should keep that in mind. I've been eating a "kidney friendly diet", as I am living with someone with stage 3. Maybe I'll die soon? :P0 -

Actually, that kinda what the nephologist does. Let's you know how you're doing, and what you need to watch. You're not handed a recipe book and meal plan. You're handed a 13 page flier that has lists of raw ingredients to avoid, and which ones to moderate. It's usually a printout from the DaVita website, or WebMD.0 -
My mother has Late Stage 3 Kidney failure and the only restriction she has is to keep her creatinine levels down, she is diabetic. Not all diet restrictions are for the same people. If you need help finding a dietician that specializes in Kidney disease you can ask your doctor for a referral or contact the American Dietetic Association at 800-877-1600 (http://www.eatright.org). Check with your insurance to see if a dietician is covered without a referral....some are.1

Has anyone thought that maybe the OP can't afford the dr visits required to see a dietitian? A lot of health plans have premiums, co-pays and deductibles. It could be the dr's visits are covered but dietitian's are not, or the co-pay is too large to go frequently to the dietitian.
