We have no idea what you find tasty. For 600 calories, you could have all sorts of things.
For 600 calories, I would probably have some avocado toast and a glass of wine.2 -
Sorry was just spur of the moment panic post trying to stop my self from screwing up I've never tried avocado?0

I am a bog fan of boom chicka pop its only 80cal per bag and it does the trick0

This does not compute.
Mashed up, on toast, with a little salt and lime juice. So freaking good!
How about some deli meat and a bit of cheese?

For less than 600 calories I, personally, would look for some low calorie ice cream (Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom is my favorite) and add some yummy toppings. That's my usual late night snack when I have 400-500 calories left lol.0

I ate at McDonald's last night for under 600 calories.1

Agreed. I think 600 calories of chips sounds pretty good.2 -
Double teen burger 670 calories... So make it a single.... Not helping right
I'm a fan of beef jerky. That's my usual go to snack (although I watch my salt intake)0 -

600 calories is a decent amount. You could eat at maintence for a day. You could go to the chip shop and be just fine if you ate the right portions.
Something you don't need to cook from the grocery store?
Fruit, salad, sandwich meats, vegetables, rotissere chicken, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, hummus, nuts, granola bars, peanut butter, bread, crackers, tuna

I just cleared my house of junk food in the last month.. only the good stuff allowed ! Off work in a few , going home to make salmon and a salad! Cannot wait! and will not eat after 7pm so my body can fast for 12-14 hours .. lol0

Do you have 600 calories, but you still have to eat dinner this evening and it's only 3pm? Or is it close to bed time and you have 600 calories and want a snack before calling it a night? Those are 2 different scenarios and would get different answers from me.
If it's the former, grab a small piece of fruit or a few pieces of dark chocolate hershey kisses, 2 are about 42 calories. If it's the latter, ice cream or a few cookies or the chips would be fine.0 -
I went to Wendy's yesterday and had a jr bacon cheeseburger no bread and no mayo with a small chili added up to 390cal0

OP posted 2.5 hours ago but it was 6.30pm here in the UK. I'd have just got a bag of chips, salt 'n vinegar, done. Or shoot for maintenance and add the fish too.
That said, I find Ryvita, ham and cottage cheese a good, easy to prepare snack and it leaves room for some chocolate or a little cake slice (like mr Kipling). Or even my snack tonight of a slice of white bread with 20g of Nutella to satisfy my sweet tooth.
600 calories is quite a lot really!0 -
Depends. Did you already meet all your macros and micros? If not, then eat something that will help you attain those.0

600 cals is my main meal of the day! I have just had a Quorn "chicken" & Leek Pie with petit poise and sprouts for under that.0

Do you have a Chipotle near you? Depending what you get you can eat a whole burrito bowl for less than 600 calories and it's very filling and healthy for fast food. Their website has a section where you can pick your toppings and see how many calories they add up to so you can plan ahead.2

She's in the UK so probably not. And our fast food menus are often different though I think Chipotle is the same (we have one or two branches, I have been to the one in Wimbledon, London but yeah, highly unlikely she lives near there!).1 -
Do they have pork rinds/skins by you? Am I going to be set on fire for suggesting this? Edit: Or, as an earlier poster recommended, some nice jerky...

And I bet you feel great making a healthy choice although. .. sounds like that stir fry wouldn't take up 600 cals... I would have had a little something sweet too hehe0 -

With no rice, no guacamole, no cheese, no sour cream?0 -
Haha no actually the one I get has 575 calories:
Brown rice
Black beans
Veggies
Mild salsa
Corn
Sour cream
Lettuce
I do skip the meat, cheese, and guacamole... but I keep the sour cream & rice1 -
I also typically eat about half to 2/3 of it and save the rest to eat later.0

I trade the corn and sour cream for guacamole. My trick is to order it as a salad though...or else you hardly get any lettuce
...And I gorge myself on it and want to die after! lol0
