The Jewish holiday season is upon us! What's your game plan?

    All things in moderation.........LOL! And - I don't/won't fast for Yom Kippur - I'm prone to migraines and if I don't eat - I get migraines. What's your game plan? l'shana tova!

    Same as always....small portions, good choices.

    I stuck to my plan for 80/20 allowing myself a glass of wine, some challah and dessert at each meal. And I only took one dessert and two glasses of wine plus challah over the entire 4 meals. So I consider it a win!

    Not looking forward to the fast next week but I would say small amount of dessert and fill up on veggies and soup at most meals.

    My unintentional strategy: I had a large-ish dinner Sunday night, was up and down so much I barely got a chance to eat!
    For holidays and celebrations, I find wine the most challenging - its so easy to forget I'm limiting and overdo.

    I really enjoy wines and now have 3 unfinished bottles open and don't want to waste them!
