I posted this in another board but thought it may fit better here.
Does anyone use the WeGo? I love it because it fits in my pocket and I have it synced to my phone. It tracks my steps, sleep, miles, and calories. I'm just not sure it is accurately tracking the calories. For instance, it says I have taken 3533 steps and burned 1612 calories. If I figure this into my caloric intake I would have to eat a LOT of calories per day. I find that hard to believe. Does anyone have a way to calculate calories to steps or do you think this is accurate? TIA for the help!

That calorie burn is huge. I highly doubt that is correct.
The general rule of thumb for calories burned for just one mile walk is about 100 calories for a 180lb body. Steps in a mile is a little over 2000.0 -
Did it maybe read 161.2 calories?0

I just noticed it has 163.0 active calories and 1439.0 resting calories. I think that is where I was getting messed up. Based on your message above 163 calories is about right for 1.5 miles. Thank you!0
