How long does your body continue to burn calories at a higher level after working out?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I usually continue to wear my Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) until my heart rate is back to my normal sitting rate so I can see when my workout "officially" ends... if you know what I mean.0

One hour; for which is convenient to eat after a work-out ;-)0

As you attain better cardiovascular fitness, your heart rate will return to "normal" more quickly. There is less to the "after burn" theory than people realize.0

The more fit you are the quicker your body will return to resting heart rate.0

Theres alot of debate on this. Recent research suggests that you burn less calories while working out with weights or circuit training or high intensity interval training vs steady state cardio, but you burn alot more than cardio sessions in the following day and a half or so. Look up EPOC online (excessive post-exercise oxygen consumption)0
