All this deliciousness I've been baking:
1. Two layers of moist yellow cake with homemade caramel topping, decked with homemade chocolate lace, and a peonie made from homemade marshmallow fondant.
2. Three layers of delicious chocolate cake with coolwhip-and-fudge mix topped with chocolate fudge frosting, topped with a bow made from homemade modeling chocolate.
3. For those who can't do carbs, behold piped melted chocolate and strawberries.

That looks effing incredible. I don't even have much of a sweet tooth (I've been craving savory lately) but the skill and effort it took is obvious. And really impressive.1

Beth got one of those funnel things with the different heads that you squeeze frosting through. She's always wanted one, it arrived last night. She made some breast cancer awareness cookies with pink roses. Looks a lot harder than it looks. Was very cool to watch. And this is the next level. Seriously impressed.1

Here is a kid's one I made. The cake is store bought - I did the Mario decoration on top.

Thanks. It's easier if you use modeling chocolate. It works like fondant dough. I've seen bows made from melted chocolate on strips of paper. It turns out super shiny and neat, but:

I have the biggest sweet tooth that I've struggled to control. My latte this morning will have to suffice over these amazing looking cakes.

The strawberries and chocolate art would be amazing for wedding reception desert! lol...not that I have any plans for a wedding any time soon! bahaha ...I licked my screen too with that one
