I'm 4'11 and asked this the other day, someone on the food and nutrition board told me to calculate my TDEE, which I did online, and it says I need about 1600 per day with my activity level. I eat between 1,400 and 1,600 a day and am trying to maintain my weight and recomp my body0

I'm 5'0 and eat about 1200 a day, on weekends though it is usually higher. If anyone wants to complain about 1200 calories, I make up for it on the weekends. It depends on your activity level and individual needs/wants in your daily diet. By "diet," I mean what you usually eat during the day and what you like to eat.2

It will really depend on how active you are. I am 5'0" and pretty active. My maintenance used to be around 2000 calories a day. I recently lost a couple pounds and my activity level dropped a tiny bit. My new maintenance calories is around 1850-1900 calories a day.0

Not sure about calorie needs but they are great for carrying around the house5

I'm 4'11 and mfp gave me a goal of 1,200, in order to lose weight, that's without taking into account any activity.0

I'm 5'0" and my TDEE is 1440. I seldom get that high, though, which allows for occasional meals out with friends. My reduction calories were 1200 and I stayed in the 1000-1100 range during that period; now I don't usually make it to 1300 in a normal day where I'm just eating three meals on my own. This includes an evening snack of nuts (about 100 calories' worth), which I feel like I couldn't do without!0

I am a little over 5' and my TDEE is 2340, that too without considering any workout done that day. I eat about 2300-2800 depending on what I am doing that day. According to my activity tracker I am always eating a 200/300 calorie deficit. It varies from person to person I suppose.0

Very impressive @unnichaacko! What do you do for work or what keeps you active throughout the day? Funny - according to my activity tracker I am always in a surplus!0

I'm a little under 5' and started here on 147 lbs. I'm trying to get down to about 118 (CW 129) but am mostly targeting fitness at the moment.
My NET calories are 1500. I subscribe to the philosophy in fat2fit radio to eat like the thinner person you want to become, because that way the amount of calories I eat will become normal.
I work on a rolling average, so some days my intake is low 1100-1200, others it is much higher
NET 1500 seems to allow me to do all the activities i want without feeling awful. I've taken up running, am aiming for a half marathon, and I dance two or three times a week. What we weigh shouldn't be the be all and end all. My weight loss has primarily come off my butt, which is particularly distressing. Squats here I come!!!!1 -
4'10" here. Was at 1200 for a couple months to lose and thought I'd lose my mind. I was so hungry and then wasn't hungry but just lacked energy. Now I am around 1500-1600 most days. Sometimes more and sometimes less. Much better. Feel much better. Staying at weight so far. This has been for 4 months maintaining.0

Hi - First of all, be aware that there is actually a forum for petites. Look in Petites for Maintenance; you might like to join it. Secondly, I am 5'0". I lost at 1200 + gym cals. It took me 2.5 years to lose about 40 lbs. I am at maintenance for the past two years easily with 1500 - 1800 plus gym cals. There are days that I can't eat that much even.0

5'1, currently maintaining at 127-128 pounds, and I'm eating 1850 calories right now. I'm fairly sure that's my TDEE, but I just started maintaining this week, so only time will tell. I workout 4-6 times a week for an 60-90 minutes.0
