Hi I'm DeeJay! I'm new to all fitness. Through my whole life I have been very tiny, size 0-1 to be exact. I've spent 8 years of my life struggling with opiate addiction. On Christmas day of 2015 I decided to change my life for the better. I packed up and left my old home and moved to a completely new city to start my life over. Needless to say I have been clean for almost 10months, and have gained right at 50lbs. This is the biggest I have ever been. I am wanting to lose weight the right way this time, and just feel great by getting fit and lean. I have no friends in my new city to motivate me or keep me encouraged. So if you feel as if you can help me to keep my new lifestyle in check, feel free to message me or comment. I would love new recipes and tricks to toning up my tummy. Thank you to all who support me.

Starting any new fitness plan I would start slow and built. It will take awhile but after a few weeks you should start to enjoy your new fitness feeling.2

Just start slow and don't expect to lose a lot of weight fast. I would also say it is not needless to say how long you have been clean, it is important to you and something you should be proud of.
Honestly, Google is the best place to find recipes. Try looking up "protein pancakes" or "healthy alternatives to mashed potatoes" AKA "Mock potatoes". If you’re into juicing there are loads of recipes out there.
Just remember to be patient and take your time.
You can do it!2 -
Also, you should try and fill out you profile info:
About Me
Why I want to get in shape
My Inspirations
This will help others to help you. The more someone knows about someone the more they are able and willing to assist.
Good luck.

DeeJay, you can do it! I'm 24 yrs in, one day at a time. I'm also 0-1 for the last 25 yrs or so. Just started working out a couple months ago and have made it up to 111 yay! I'm sure some want to slap me, but hey, we all have our problems. Mine is just backward.
Don't push yourself to hard and change everything at once, it can cause problems. But always move in the right direction consistently and you'll be ok!1 -
Well done for taking that gigantic first step. The rest will be easier. Just take each step slowly and the results will surely come!1
