It's almost 8pm and still 90 degrees outside! What do you do to combat the heat? I want to go walking but it's painfully hot. Give me winter anyday over this!

Amen.... winter is much better. Easy to add a coat if you get cold. What recourse do we have now... run nude? That or work out in the AC or swim....It's almost 8pm and still 90 degrees outside! I agree workout inside with the A/C. Or wait until the sun goes down and drink plenty of water!!!!0

I'm doing walk away the pounds...I can do it in the comfort of my air conditioning, any time of day, in my pajamas if I feel like it. You should consider it

I love working out in extreme heat, it was about 90+ in Massachusetts today and went for a walk/jog for about 2 miles. Felt like I sweat off a pound or two. Make sure you drink lots of water leading up to the exercise though. There is nothing better than a nice cool shower or a jump in the pool after a workout in hot weather.0

its prolly not the safest option...but i just go out and sweat it out...it feels incredible...like i can almost feel the fat melting off...then i come in and drown myself in a huge glass(or 5) of ice waterIt's almost 8pm and still 90 degrees outside! When it's soooo hot I like to do the Leslie Sansom walking video. I think that is how you spell it LOL It's 103 here in Okla right now and it's 7:00.0

Try Plyometrics, Zumba, Yoga/Pilates, Wii/Kinect (if lucky enough to have it-I don't), or do calisthenics such as jumping jacks or skipping rope in doors. Books & DVDs can usually be checked out at the library if you don't want to purchase them. You could also go to a local mall, large department store, or community center if available. Also, is there is community swimming pool nearby that may be an option. It's very hot here too and you may just have to change up your routine until the weather cooperates! Good luck!0

Try some workout tapes you can do indoors. I love working out in the heat but my husband hates it..if its too hot he pops in a video.0

i just push through it but then again its almost always hot year round here. I try to do most of my workouts before sunrise or after sunset but that said at 4am this morning we were sitting at 90 deg.0

I have done the nude running before. It was pretty fun. Actually, I wasn't TOTALLY nude. I had a ski mask over my face and tennis shoes on.
THe people at the grocery store were pretty shocked. Good thing I could outrun the employees

uuhh same here. I try to get up in the morning and go out running at 8 am, before it gets into the high 80's. And then I sit in AC all day. That way, my workout is done for the day, and (supposedly) my metabolism is up throughout the day? Days where I can't make it up (a lot lately) I'll just do a DVD or dance around with weights to burn some calories.0

Bwhahahaha! Do you know how much chaffing I'd have? LOL0

DOH! I have those and totally forgot them! We have a kinect, but I don't really care for it. We got rid of the Wii.I'm doing walk away the pounds...I can do it in the comfort of my air conditioning, any time of day, in my pajamas if I feel like it. You should consider it

I cut the outside part of my daily work out in half so as not to get heat stroke. The humidity can kill you if you aren't smart about. So I cut it in half and took the same amout of water for my full workout.0

I have been running in az 100 plus weather you get use to it and as long as the sun is down I can handle it0
