What's up with all the clowns these days. I haven't seen one, but keep reading about this weird craze. What the deal?

    Apparently it's some well-organized event, all gearing up to culminate with some big thing on Halloween.

    Was one yesterday in my town. The clown was throwing rocks at the kids and one little boy was injured. Great if it is for marketing but unfortunately there are some idiots who use it as an excuse to cause trouble while hiding behind a mask. I would love to see someone try it with me!

    Some idiot in a Clown costume is going to get shot while trying to scare someone for a You Tube video. I won't shed a tear.

    This whole thing caused mass hysteria this past week, at the school where I teach. Something happened at recess (rumor spread or wtv, nothing serious, no real sighting) and when we (teachers) went to pick our kids up in the lunchroom, swarms of them had broken down in terrified tears; they thought they were going to be killed, and the teachers too. Heartbreaking to see the little ones so petrified. I don't think there is anything about the situation that is funny. Getting off on scaring kids is just sick. Looking in, it might seem silly and all "Booga booga, here comes Pennywise", but I love my little guys and they are still really young and impressionable. It wasn't funny to see so many kids that afraid. Some people are so fuct up. SMH.

    clowns have now been making an appearance here in Canada too apparently
